July TBR

Hey guys! Has it been a busy few weeks for me! So many relatives of mine came to visit us in Ireland and it was so amazing. But there was no time to rest and that’s why I didn’t post anything for so long. But here I am, back with you (at least until school starts), and I’m here with a TBR!

I really don’t know what I want to read this month, but I know that I want to read a lot before school starts back. I plan on relaxing this whole month, reading and watching Gilmore Girls with my mum, which I think sounds like a great plan.

So let’s get started!

1. Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: The Meltdown by Jeff Kinney

I’ve actually already completed this book, which is great. I knew it would be a really quick book to get through, and I actually enjoy reading these books, as childish as they are. I’ll talk more about my feelings about this book in my wrap up, but overall it was a good book.

2. Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire by J. K. Rowling

I want to take my time with this one, so I’m reading this book nice and slow, reading a few pages here and there, whenever I feel like it. Shocking news, but I’ve never actually finished this book, so I want to change that this month. This book is a long one, but it’s Harry Potter so I think it’ll fly by. I’m already around 100 pages into it so far and I am LOVING it. I’ve forgotten so much of what happened, and I love diving into the story again.

3. Scythe by Neal Shusterman

I have heard rave reviews of this book (mainly from Regan at PeruseProject!) and when I found it at the library I grabbed it right away. I think this book sounds interesting and from the things I’ve heard about it I think I’m going to love it. This is another book that I’ve already started and I’m almost 60 pages through. I’m liking it so far, and I think things are just about to get really interesting.

And now, for the possible reads…

4. The Paper & Hearts Society by Lucy Powrie

I read this book last month, and it quickly became one of my favourite books of all time. I loved all the talk of books and friendship and that’s why it’s on my TBR again. I don’t actually know if I can read it again, since my library hold is running out, but hopefully I can squeeze in a reread. Fingers crossed! I’m also planning on writing a review for this book, so make sure to look out for that!

5. Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett

I have a feeling I won’t be able to read this book this month, but it all depends on how quickly my library hold will come. I’m 8 of 8 holds now, so I don’t have much luck. But since I saw the trailer for the Amazon Prime show, I have been dying to read and watch it. So I want to read it to satisfy myself until it comes out on BBC.

So those are the books I want to read this month! Please tell me what books you’re planning on reading this month in the comments and we can chat about books together. Have a lovely day (or evening, where I am!) and I hope to see you all later. Bye!
