Romance Books For Valentine’s Day

Hello everyone! Since tomorrow is Valentine’s day, I thought it’d be nice to talk about some cute romance books to read to get into the spirit of the day. For some reason this blog post was so hard to do because I have forgotten how I feel about every book I’ve ever read. Was the romance cute? Was there any romance? Did I like it? Ugh, it was difficult. But here are some books that I think are pretty adorable.

1. Anna And The French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins

I read this years ago and thought it was so adorable. I actually remember tearing up when I finished the book because it was just so perfect. It’s set in France, which is PERFECT for Valentine’s Day, and it’s set is a swanky boarding school. I really want to read this book again and my sister, who’s not really a reader, has read it twice, so you know it’s good.

2. To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han

I literally cannot wait to watch this movie, but since I don’t have Netflix I’ll just have to watch the trailer over and over again. Sad times. But anyway, this book is a must read! It’s cute, it’s funny and it’ll make you want to bake and eat over and over again until you feel as if you might explode. I highly recommend this book and if you have Netflix go check out the movie. There’s also a sequel about to start filming so that should be fun!

3. Simon Vs The Homosapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli

I’ll be astounded if you haven’t heard of this book. This book is one of the most popular LGBT books I’ve heard about. So much so that it’s now got a movie! And FYI, the movie is the cutest thing ever. Watch it and adore it. I’ve read this book twice and loved it both times, I lent it to my friend who loved it and together we went to a signing with Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera, which was so awesome. So, you could say I like this book. Just go read everything Becky Albertalli has written, because they are all swoon-worthy romances.

4. One Of Us Is Lying by Karen M. McManus

I distinctly remember not wanting any of the characters to be the murderer because I liked the relationships too much. This book has a bad boy/good girl relationship, which might be your thing. I really liked it, and I want to see it continue if or when a sequel is published.

5. The Upside Of Unrequited by Becky Albertalli (again)

This is tied with Simon Vs as my favourite Becky book, and it might even BE my fave. I definitely want to read this book again because I feel like it was ages ago that I read it and I just want to read about Molly again. This book is so cute, it’s ridiculous. I know I’ve said that every book on this list is cute, but this book is cuuuute. I loved this book so much and the little Simon cameo was everything.

So those are five books to read if you want to feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Since this post was focused on romance books, I’m thinking of doing another post that’s about books with no romance, so comment if you think that’s a good idea. I hope you have a great Valentines Day and I’ll see you very soon! Bye!
