Books I Want To Reread In 2019

Hi everyone! Today is a follow-up post to my Books I Want To Read In 2019, which I posted earlier this week. Some of the books I spoke about in that post are sequels, and I can’t really remember what happened in the first book. So here are some books I want to reread in 2019.

1. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

I read this book when I was a kid and really liked it, but it was so long ago and I want to read it again. I also want to continue on with the series, but I have no idea when that’ll be. But if I find out I do want to continue the series straight away, I have the other two books on my shelf. Also, I’ve already seen the movies, and I think they’re fantastic, so if the books are better than the movies, it’ll just be spectacular.

2. Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children / Hollow City by Ransom Riggs

I’m not going to split these books into two list items since they’re part of the same series, and it just seemed easier to put them in the same place. As I’ve said in my last post, I want to read Library Of Souls, but I’m also feeling like I want to do a big binge of the series. I loved these books, and if I want to read these two again, I bloody well am doing it. Guys, just read these books!!!!!!

3. The Wrath And The Dawn by Renee Ahdieh

In my last post, I said I wanted to read The Rose And The Dagger, but I definitely need to read The Wrath And The Dawn first. When I had a flip through the two books, there were so many names that I didn’t know, and I even forgot the main male leads name (I think it’s Khalid). So I one-hundred-percent need to reread this book before I start The Rose And The Dagger, or else I’ll have no clue what’s going on, or who’s talking to whom.

4. Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake

I am honestly amazed by the fact that I haven’t been spoiled for this series yet. A-mazed. But I know that this lucky streak won’t last, so I want to get caught up with the series as fast as I can, and since I’ve forgotten pretty much everything that happened in this series, book one is the perfect place to start. All I remember is that I LOVE Arsinoe, I’m fine with Mirabella and I can’t stand Katharine.

5. City Of Bones by Cassandra Clare

I read the special collector’s edition this year (thank you libraries) and I really liked it. I also bought the whole box set on Amazon, but I never actually started the next book. I do want to continue on with the series, but I want to refresh my memory on what happened in the first one. To be honest, I don’t really care that much about the Mortal Instruments series, but I feel I should read it to get fully acquainted with the whole shadowhunter world.

So those are five books I want to reread in 2019! I hope you enjoyed this follow-up post and please tell me in the comments what books you’re planning on rereading, if any. Have a great day and I’ll see you all very soon. Bye!
