Books I Want To Read In 2019 | 2019 TBR

Hey everyone! Yes, it’s another 2019 blog post. December’s posts are going to be almost all 2019 related, with a few Harry Potter ones in between. So if that’s not something you really care about, I’m just letting you know in advance.

With that little bit out-of-the-way, let’s get on with the books I want to read in 2019! I have some top priority books on this list and also some books that I won’t be surprised by if I don’t end up reading. Me and my wishful thinking striking again.

So let’s go!

1. Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

I’ve had this book for years and I still haven’t read it, which I think is a scandal. But I’m prepared to read it right after I finish reading the Harry Potter books. I’ve also got Crooked Kingdom on my shelf, so when I finish Six of Crows I can immediately start the next book. I also need to read this book because King of Scars is coming out in January, and I kinda want to read that too.

2. Empire of Storms by Sarah J Maas

How I haven’t read this book yet, I can’t tell you. I still can’t believe I haven’t read this book yet, especially since the series has ended now! I really want to read Empire of Storms next year because it’ll only be a matter of time before I get spoiled for what happens at the end of Kingdom of Ash, and I want to be shocked at all the twists and turns. Also people have started posting Kingdom of Ash spoiler vlogs, and I really want to watch them, but I have to read Empire of Storms and Tower of Dawn first.

3. The Rose and The Dagger by Renee Ahdieh

The Wrath And The Dawn was one of the first books I reviewed on my blog, and I gave it 5 stars. But for some reason, I never finished the second book. I got around halfway through it, but then I put it down and never picked it back up. But I do plan to next year, because I want to know what happens to all the characters.

4. Library Of Souls by Ransom Riggs

I read Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children a while ago and absolutely adored it, and I loved Hollow City, but I never read Library Of Souls. I did start it, and got a decent way through, but (like with The Rose and The Dagger) I put it down and kinda forgot about it. I think one of the reasons I didn’t want to read Library of Souls was because I didn’t want the series to end, but now that Ransom Riggs has announced a new trilogy, I’m fine with reading Library Of Souls. I can’t wait to read it and finally find out what’s actually happened to all the characters.

5. Nerve by Jeanne Ryan

I watched the movie of this in October and I loved it. The way it was filmed was awesome and it immediately made me want to read the book. The plot of the book sounds very similar to something that could actually happen, with stolen identities and stuff like that. There’s also another book that Jeanne Ryan’s written called Charisma, which sounds pretty cool too.

So those are five books I want to read in 2019! Please tell me in the comments what books you want to read and I’ll see you very soon with a new post. Bye!
