Most Anticipated Books Of 2019

Hey everyone! It’s December now and very almost the end of the year. I actually can’t believe it has gone by so quickly, but 2018 has been the most amazing year ever for me. Before I do a weird sappy speech about 2018, let me tell you about all the books I’m anticipating in 2019!

There aren’t actually a lot of books I’m ridiculously hyped for, but there are a few that are on my radar. And here they are! FYI, these books are in no particular order, they’re just… there.

1. King of Scars by Leigh Bardugo

I kinda excited for this even though I’ve never read a Leigh Bardugo book in my life. I know, shocking. Six of Crows is number one on my TBR next year, so I reading it very soon. I also want to read Six of Crows before King of Scars so I’m acquainted with the magic system and the world. I read the synopsis of this book and it sounds really good. It’s set to come out on the 29th of January 2019.

2. Two Can Keep A Secret by Karen M McManus

I read One Of Us Is Lying by this author this year and I really enjoyed it. I did predict the murderer, but I still really liked the who it was. So hopefully I don’t predict any twists when I read this book! This book is set to release on the 8th of January 2019.

3. Again, but Better by Christine Riccio

I’m so excited for this book because it’s written by none other than Booktuber PolandbananasBOOKS herself! I really want to support her because she’s done great things for the booktube community and I can’t wait to read her debut novel! This is set to release on the 7th of May 2019.

4. The World Of Throne Of Glass by Sarah J Maas

I’m a big Throne of Glass fan and I am dying to pick this book up since it was announced. I am such a sucker for anything Sarah J Maas, and I am so excited to be able to read this book. It’s set to release on the 3rd of September 2019.

5. Enchantee by Gita Trelease

I’ve been seeing this book all over the place but I didn’t know what it was about. So I decided to look up the synopsis for it and let me tell you, this book sounds WILD. I don’t know why I didn’t look into this book sooner, since it’s now on my most anticipated list. This is set to release on 5th of February 2019.

6. Hot Dog Girl by Jennifer Dugan

I heard Becky Albertalli talking about this book and that was all I needed to know before I put it onto my most anticipated list. This book sounds so cute and sweet, and I think it’s also LGBT, which’ll be awesome. Also the cover’s brilliant. This is set to release on 30th of April 2019.

7. The Princess and The Fangirl by Ashley Poston

I thought this was just a little short story added to the new editions of Geekerella until I looked up the page number and it’s 320 pages long! I am so psyched for this book and I can’t wait to read it. Also, I’m pretty sure there is a female female romance, which is so cool!! This is set to release on 2nd of April 2019.

8. These Witches Don’t Burn by Isabel Sterling

Tbh, I was drawn to the book by its cover. I mean, look at it! How can you not fall in love with a cover like that? But after I was drawn in, I did read the synopsis, and it actually sounds like a cool book. It’s witchy and sounds very magical and I really want to read it. This is set to release on the 28th of May 2019.

So those are the books that are on my most anticipated list of 2019 and I can’t wait to read them all. I know that there’ll be more releases popping up during the year that I’ll want to read, but these are the ones I know right now. Please tell me in the comments what books you’re interested in picking up next year and I’ll see you soon with a new post. Bye!
