Weekend Reads

Hey guys! So it’s the weekend (finally) and it’s reading time! Since school has started I’m reading slower than I want to, so I want to catch up during the weekend. I’ve got a few plans that include reading some books and writing some posts. And while I can’t tell you what posts I’m writing because spoilers, I can sure tell you what books I plan to read.

So let’s show you what my weekend plans are!

1. Read The Magic Misfits by Neil Patrick Harris

I’m around a third of the way through this book and am loving it so far. It’s so magical and fun and I can’t wait to see what happens. It’s also a quick read, because it’s Middle Grade, so I hopefully will be able to finish it this weekend. I also want to do a review for this book, so stayed tuned for that in the coming weeks. But yeah, I plan get halfway through the book today, and finish it tomorrow. I don’t know if that’ll happen, but I can hope.

2. Read some of Catwoman: Soulstealer by Sarah J. Maas

I’m only sixty pages through this book, and I already love it. Of course I love it, it’s Sarah J Maas! I’ve never seen a Catwoman movie or read about her at all, so I’m going into this book completely blind. But I think that’s okay, because I don’t have any expectations, and I’m not comparing this book to the comics or anything like that. I’m enjoying this book so far and I hope to read 50-100 pages this weekend.

3. Write blog posts

One of them being this one! School has really taken it out of me, so the only time I get to write blog posts any more is on the weekend. Saturday is now my scheduled post-writing day, and I try to get as many posts written as I can. I plan on writing around 2-3 blog posts this weekend, one being this one and the others being secret (again, spoilers!).

So those are my weekend plans! Sorry this post was so short, but that’s pretty much it for me this weekend. I mostly just want to relax and not even think about school because that will bring me too much stress.

Well, I hope you enjoyed this post and remember to tell me in the comments what your plans are this weekend, bookish or non-bookish, and I’ll see you later. Bye!
